Description

|卫藏||护法是佛教中守护佛法不受外敌侵害的神灵，在藏传佛教中，护法神灵体系可谓十分庞杂，其数量堪称非常巨大，此幅扎卡就表现了一位护法神灵的威猛形象。主尊发髻高耸，戴三角形冠饰，面短丰肥，三目睁视，龇牙卷舌，忿怒非凡。上身躯体粗壮，肚腹圆鼓，佩戴钏镯等各种饰物，帔帛绕两臂飘扬于身体两侧。上两臂分持绳索和宝瓶，下两臂结法印。下身腰围虎皮裙，以左展立姿态站在莲花座上。整幅扎卡主题明确，用色以暖色调为主，凸显宗教气氛，人物绘制古拙，带有早期尼藏艺术的风格特色。尤其是本尊姿态和所持法器，与伏魔金刚手十分相近，冠饰也非骷髅冠，而是与金刚手菩萨一样为花冠，推测此尊可能为伏魔金刚手的眷属神灵或变化身，艺术价值和宗教价值十分可观。
