|藏东||苯教是公元前五千多年就已产生的西藏本土宗教，可分原始苯教和雍仲苯教。其中，雍仲苯教有一百七十余函的经部《甘珠尔》和近三百八十余函的论部《丹珠尔》，内容涵盖逻辑学、哲学、工艺美术、医术药理、语言文字、天文地理、文学历史、佛学等诸多领域。如西藏医学《四部医典》，就是由苯教《四部医经》为母本改编而来的。此幅唐卡表现的是一个苯教坛城，中央显现苯教坛城“雍仲龙杰”，外圈以佛塔环绕一周。画面四周分别呈现苯教的佛陀、本尊与祖师。整幅唐卡画面构图规整，人物描绘生动细腻，更兼其题材稀有难得，对于研究苯教宗教文化、艺术具有重要价值。
