Description

无量寿佛乃法身阿弥陀佛以报身显现的形象，也称无量光佛，又称“长寿佛”，具有增福延寿的功用，在藏传佛教中信仰极盛。此尊束高发髻，戴华丽五叶冠饰。面相方正，眉目平直，面带微笑，衬托出佛祖的慈悲与庄严。上身裸露，钏镯饰物一应俱全。躯体劲健，姿态端庄，双手结禅定印于腹前，掌中捧有本巴宝瓶（已失）。下身着宽松长裙，双腿结跏趺坐于莲花座上。整像镀金亮丽，胎体厚重，其人物造型和莲座样式都与乾隆时期内务府所制佛像十分类似，甚值迎请供奉。
