A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF A DIVINITY, PROBABLY CHAKRASAMVARA, Inner Mongolia, Dolonnor or Tibet, 18th/19th ct., standing in alidhasana on a pair of figures reclining on the lotus base, the principle arms embracing his consort, the others radiating around them, wearing tiger-skin, mala of severed heads, bejewelled, his four faces displaying ferocious expressions with slit eyes below raised eyebrows, his hair combed in a chignon secured with a tiara and his consort originally holding the kapala and karttrika, unsealed - Property from a private collection of Tibetan art, assembled in the 1990's - Attributes partly lost, slightly chipped
