题识：|1.巩伯金城并题。2、北楼金城并题。3.巩伯金城并题。4.吴兴巩伯金城写意于西溪。||钤印：金城之印（白文）、北楼（朱文） |简介|金城（1878-1926）中国近现代画家，原中国画学研究会会长。字巩北，一字拱北，原名绍城，号北楼、又号藕湖，祖籍浙江省吴兴县。金城出身书香门第，自幼天性喜爱绘画，山水花鸟皆能，兼工篆隶镌刻，旁及古文辞。擅长山水、花鸟，师法宋元，笔墨谨严，以工带写，金城著有《藕庐诗草》、《北楼论画》、《画学讲义》。因没有老师传教，就在家里临摹家藏古代名人画迹，到后来所临字画几可乱真。金城初学戴熙的精细笔法，后接近陆廉夫画风。他的山水、花鸟、人物都有古意。
