款识：东二殿第三十九号丙（为清宫造办处制“六品佛楼”造像编号）。此像宗喀巴头戴黄色的尖顶僧帽，后来成为格鲁派僧人共同的形象标志。它与噶当派僧人所戴班智达帽颇为相似，体现了宗喀巴大师对噶当派的忠实继承。面相饱满圆润，衣纹自然写实，雕工遒劲有力，纹饰精致细腻。双手结说法印，结跏趺坐于莲花宝座上，姿态端庄，威仪棣棣。
