Description: Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain vase. Uniquely potted in form of a baluster shape. Heavy on the shoulder, tapered gracefully on splayed foot base, rising the rounded shoulder toward slightly flared rim. Characterized with three looped ring handles flanked on the shoulder. The central body decorated with archaic dragon and phoenix entwined the scrolling geometrical motif. Banded with gilt over glazed ring on rim, shoulder, body, and foot. The decoration executed in gilt and silver over-glazed painting on ornaments and decoration over olive-brown contrast grounds. Mark on base, an embossed six seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing. Dimensions: 10" H x 5-1/4" Dia.
