Description: 18th Century, Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain brush pot, in shape of a cylindrical bamboo stem, with four nodes dividing three waisted stem walls, raised on slightly concaved flat base. The exterior decorated with underglaze hand painting of red bamboo amidst blue rock works. The base left unglazed, reveal the pale-creme ground, surrounded the underglazed white central base. Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Period of Great Qing. Dimensions: 5-1/2" H x 4-1/4" Dia.
