Each dish is decorated with the "Joosje te paard" hunting scene with two riders on horseback hunting rabbits beside a cliff in a mountainous river landscape. The rim and cavetto are decorated in a pencil style with scrolling lotus and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang. Each reverse is decorated with single flower sprays, and the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark.
