|说明：达摩是南北朝禅僧，据《续高僧传》记述，南天竺人，属刹帝力种姓，通彻大乘佛法，为修习禅定者所推崇。北魏时，曾在洛阳、嵩山等地传授禅教。当时对他所传的禅法褒贬不一，约当魏末入寂于洛滨。据《景德传灯录》在民间常称其为达摩祖师，即禅宗的创始人。|此尊达摩高两尺有余，圆眼阔鼻，双目炯炯有神，身着广袖长袍，脸部皱纹及腮络刻画细腻，身型略微前倾，脚踏峻岩座上。更甚之，其头部、双臂、右袖皆可活动，可谓活灵活现，极富动感，颇有“吴带当风”之势。
