题识：|1.元征吾兄诗家哂正，贵池龙慧刘诒慎时役虞椒。|2.元征先生属书旧作，因录数诗呈览。师培。||钤印：龙慧、刘师培印、申叔 |说明：|1.刘诒慎（1874-1926），字龙慧，安徽贵池人。诸生，江苏候补知府。着有《龙慧堂诗》。|2.刘师培，字申叔，号左庵，江苏仪征人。1917年，应北京大学校长蔡元培之聘，任北京大学文科教授，先后开设“六朝文学”、“文选学”等课程，有《中国中古文学史》讲义传世，为近现代中国文学史研究首屈一指之巨著。1919年1月，与黄侃等成立“国故月刊社”，成为国粹派，在北大主导发起《国故学刊》。|3.上款贝元征，晚清文学家，与谭嗣同为挚友。
