款识：大明嘉靖年制 |盘制标准，端庄周正，盘心以青花绘“海屋添筹”图，楼阁鹤立于云海之中，仙鹤口衔竹筹，飞入海中仙屋，海波粼粼，寿山高耸，盘外壁通景绘八仙图，另有童子端筹筒在旁。全器布局疏朗清新，绘画细致入微，意境高远开阔。底书“大明嘉靖年制”六字款。“海屋添筹”是中国传统的吉祥纹样，故事出自宋·苏轼《东坡志林·三老语》：“尝有三老人相遇，或问之年，一老者曰，吾年不可计，但忆少年时与盘古有旧。或曰，海水变桑田，吾辄下一筹，尔来吾筹已装满十间屋。”常用于中国古代绘画作品、瓷器及其它工艺品的装饰中，寓意寿比天齐，万寿无疆。
