为少见清末南京武夫子庙大殿早期蛋白照片。南京武庙，为明代十庙之一，位于南京鸡鸣寺东侧，玄武湖南岸，民国为国民政府考试院旧址，现为中共南京市委、南京市政府及南京市人大、南京市政协所在地。大殿建立在青石台基之上，重檐歇山顶，砖木结构，民国时期将其内部改建成两层，楼下作为考试院的大礼堂，楼上是考试院铨叙部的办公室。品相保存完好，为南京历史建筑的早期珍贵影像，亦为反映南京城市发展的重要记录。
