作者简介：王季迁(1906－2003)，名季铨，1932年改名季迁，字选青，印名王迁，又名纪迁、纪千、己千。斋号云怀楼。江苏苏州人。王鳌第十四代嫡孙，吴湖帆弟子。现代著名学者、书画家、鉴定家。自幼受良好的私塾教育，早年拜顾麟士为师，在“过云楼”得见历代名迹，大开眼界。20世纪20年代到上海投师吴湖帆，为“梅景书屋”开门弟子。曾为上海美专教授。40年代移居美国。擅书画，富收藏，精鉴赏。藏品以中国绘画史上煊赫名作武宗元的《朝元仙仗图》等宋元名迹为最。与庞元济、张伯驹、张大千、吴湖帆、张葱玉并称为20世纪六大收藏家。
