作者简介：宋光宝，清，一作观葆，字藕塘。江苏吴县(今苏州)，流寓广西桂林。临川李秉绶聘至粤教写花卉，遂开粤派。居古泉(廉)、绍谦毕沿其法，品最高。有弟为番禺令，绝不入还。善花卉，翎毛，草虫，工笔学北京，逸笔宗陈沱江兼恽寿平。其画有沉着、无轻佻，卷轴之气盎然。有绢本设色花鸟屏八帧，标新领异。花鸟多不试名，欲于宋、元体中别创一派。
