说明：盒为方形，其上以竹簧贴面，盒盖面上浅刻秋江待渡的画面，茅屋数间，前后有树木相掩映。溪岸边一人临流而立，远视前方。盒身四周浅刻野溪垂钓等景。为夏敬观的故物。上款简介：夏敬观（1875-1953），字剑丞，号吷庵，江西新建人。晚侨上海，早年以诗词名播南北。曾任浙江教育厅长、中国公学会监督。工山水，兼花卉，与汤定之往还密切，但各有面目，七十后游华山，艺事益精。
