文人闲章，多以寿山、巴林等石为材，以玉制章者较为少见。此章则以和田玉籽料为材，章体方正间亦不乏圆润，一面带有洒金皮色，与润美玉质相得益彰，并以浮雕方式雕琢为一老叟，斜持龙头手杖，前方童子携琴，手指前方，而回头与老叟对望，似有所语，斜径的处理则以阴刻不规则的线条为之，而山石则大开大合，少了些许险峻，多了几分气象。章体另外两面则不事雕琢，以留白方式展示玉质润美，亦可刻写边款、文字。樊军民：中国工艺美术大师，中国玉石雕刻大师
