题识：乙卯孟夏，甓勤斋主者璋。 |龙璋，实业家。字研仙，号甓勤。长沙府攸县人。光绪举人。左宗棠外孙女婿，陆润庠得意门生，历任如皋、上元、泰兴、江宁知县。对黄兴等筹组华兴会谋划起义帮助甚多。是孙中山、黄兴、蔡锷、章士钊的挚友。1903年创办开济轮船公司，开辟长沙至湘潭、汉口两条主要航线。1907年弃官，致力于兴办实业，除经营内河航运外，还创办了瓷业、铁路诸学堂，并组织商船公会、农会，被推举为湖南商会会长。辛亥革命后，任湖南交通司司长、西路巡按使等职。1913年参与湖南的反袁独立运动。事败，寓居上海。
