|印章为方形，小巧玲珑，玉质精纯。圆雕一甪端为钮，呈站姿，神兽呈立姿状，微微抬首，双目上扬，炯炯有神，如意形鼻，方嘴阔腮，大口紧闭，双耳贴伏，头上独角颇为传神。体态圆润饱满，臀部敦厚，四肢短粗有力，关节处浅浮雕有火焰纹装饰，尾部分叉卷起紧贴背部，工艺精湛老到，细节刻画尤为传神，整体形象生动古朴，气质庄肃祥瑞亦见憨萌可爱。甪端，为中国古代传说中的神异之兽，头生一角是其最大特征，能识贤辨慧。《宋书 · 符瑞志下》载：『甪端日行万八千里，又晓四夷之语，圣主在位，明达方外幽远，则奉书而至。耶律楚材谓为『旌星之精，灵异如鬼神』。
