此像头顶现馒头状高肉髻，面庞方圆，表情肃穆，身着通肩袈裟，双手于腹前结禅定印，双腿盘坐于覆莲座上，其下承以四足方座，身后有舟形火焰背光。整像造型完美，风格古朴，包浆醇厚，尤其是其硕大的肉髻、磨光式发饰、通肩式袈裟、深峻写实的衣纹、厚重敦实的四足座床、宽大厚实的莲叶形背光等，都展现了古朴凝重艺术风韵，与北魏太和时期的造像风格颇为一致，值得特别珍视。
