此器以战汉青铜方壶化裁而来，其制式经典，但在明清仿古铜器中不为多见。
整作四方造型，口沿微撇，颈部收束，鼓腹明显，腹下渐收，底承圈足。器身线条流畅唯美，四棱转折硬朗，颈部两侧对铸饕餮耳，下悬圆环，除此之外再无他饰，以端正古雅的器型取胜，整器皮壳厚重，层次丰富，观之古雅之气扑面而来，为厅堂插花佳器。
