说 明：此件宝石蓝料瓶纵向八棱形，直口长颈，鼓腹圈足，棱线凸起，笔直清晰，造型挺拔秀美，端庄规整。通体呈透明宝石蓝色，色泽沉穆雅致。虽光素无纹，但以其精巧的造型，宝石般的色泽，纯净无暇的质地，一丝不苟的精细做工取胜，格调高雅，显示了清宫玻璃厂高超的技艺，为雍正时期御制料器之精品。
八棱瓶造型源自唐代越窑秘色瓷，此类形制料器或始于清雍正时期，并以雍干两朝时期作品的工艺为其巅峰。传世雍正、乾隆时期御制料器八棱瓶于市场中极为罕见，仅为个例，馆藏可见北京故宫博物院藏清乾隆宝石蓝料八棱瓶，其材料、形制、工艺与拍品相类，可资参阅。
