产自新疆若羌的顶级黄玉，为纯正鸡油黄色泽，毫无泛青之感，玉质细腻熟糯，色质均匀，天然的油性润度自内而外散发，不盘即油。玉性清雅高贵，色泽醇正，结构致密，纯净度极佳。明代学者高濂在其《遵生八笺》中评价“玉以甘黄为上，羊脂次之；以黄为中色，且不易得…….”又认为黄色为中色，乃为四方中心，是大地之色。在我国古代，黄玉经常被用作宗教祭器中，代表帝王的崇高、神秘、威严和华贵。如此高品的若羌黄玉料在市场上已经几乎绝迹，消耗的都是存量。
在传统文化中，金蟾是寿命很长的瑞兽，不但代表着财富、富贵，也是吉祥、平安的象征，摆放或者佩戴金蟾，是一种祈祷平安、健康的方式。
