黄幻吾(1906.9-1985.7)，名罕，字幻吾，号罕僧，晚年称罕翁。男，汉族，广东新会人。早年临《芥子园画谱》兼画肖像，中学毕业后从事印刷及广告美术工作，业余潜心研习书画，获岭南画派高剑父、高奇峰教益，画艺日趋成熟。1961年任上海轻工业学校美术专业主任，后入上海中国画院任画师。出版《幻吾画集》三卷、《幻吾小品画集》等。著有《怎样画走兽》《中国画技法》等书。生前为广州市博物馆委员、苏州美专教务长、上海烟雨画院院长、中国美术家协会会员，中国美术家协会上海分会理事，上海文史研究馆馆员，上海中国画院画师。
