Striking features of this half-length biblical figure are "the exaltedly spread hand" and the "masterfully tangled turban" (Anna Moraht-Fromm), which can be found in a similar way in the works of the productive Polack workshop. There are also notable stylistic similarities between this depiction of a prophet and a predella figure by Polack in the palace chapel of Blutenburg. Auffallend bei dieser biblischen Halbfigur sind „die exaltiert gespreizte Hand“ und das „verwickelte Turban-Kunstwerk“ (Anna Moraht-Fromm), die in ähnlicher Weise in den Werken der vielbeschäftigten Polack-Werkstatt zu finden sind. Eine stilistische Verbindung unseres Propheten mit einer Predellen-Figur Polacks in der Schloßkapelle Blutenburg ist ebenso zu bemerken.
