A George III Scottish silver salver, Edinburgh, 1773, Patrick Robertson, designed with pierced border and gadrooned edge, the base engraved with armorial (rubbed) and raised on three openwork bracket feet, 32.5cm dia., approx. weight 37.5ozPlease refer to department for condition reportThe salver is in moderately good overall condition commensurate with age. There is general surface scratching, nicking and minor pitting noted in addition to a number of repairs. The repairs are to the pierced and gadrooned borders and to each of the feet. Several splits also noted to the gadrooned border. Maker's mark slightly rubbed. Armorial to centre partially erased.
