挂屏均做长方形，大红色缎地子，彩绣人物故事场景。其一，三个童子于石台前读书，一才子携一捧书童子走来，另一童子其身后向背而立，亭中亦有一童玩耍。图中人物均身着锦衣华服，院中花草葱葱，树木荫荫，雕栏玉栋，应是大户人家。其二，一位农夫模样的人在田中耕作，旁边一童子提茶壶，两童子席地而坐谈笑品茶；身后另一农夫头戴斗笠与一蓝衣童子凭栏而坐，相谈甚欢。 挂屏配色齐全，红、黄、蓝、绿、白等各色丝线渐变自然，视觉效果丰富；整体构图疏密有致，繁而不乱，人物各成体系又相互呼应，通体装饰物整体感极强；刺绣工艺随所绣物事，各种针法运用自如，表现力强，绣面立体丰满。
