释迦佛全跌迦端坐，身躯挺拔，左手平伸脐前结禅定印，右手下垂置右膝结触地印。螺发颗颗饱满，头现肉髻。沉静的双目微闭俯视，面相祥和庄严。外披袈裟，下着长裙，直覆至脚踝，流畅写实，衣缘錾刻花卉纹为饰。
造像表现的是释迦牟尼在菩提迦耶大菩提树下成道时的情景。据佛传故事，释迦牟尼佛在菩提树下入定，不为美色妖魔所动，战胜魔军，开悟菩提，一手禅定，一手触地，所以此种姿态，亦称成道像。
