和田玉质。玉质温润，微泛青色；局部有沁色，莲花部位赭褐色沁明显，下半身部位土沁明显，肉眼可见，在放大镜下观察更加清晰，沁色自然，过度分明；器物呈立体状，圆雕、镂空、透雕等工艺而就；左边童子左手执莲，右手执灯笼，右边童子背执莲花，手执空瓶相随，童子形象圆头、大脑、顶部留一撮发、八字眉、葱管鼻、樱桃口，面露喜色，上身穿开襟衫，下着宽筒裤，裤管上刻“米”字纹装饰；雕工古朴，线条简练；难得一件艺术佳品。古语宋元时期有七夕节，孩童执莲效仿摩喝乐，并供奉借其名制成偶人，以祈生育男孩的习俗。
