砚取随形，额部琢松桩肌理，鳞次栉比，老气横秋，背后琢老干斜倚而出，分出小枝，松针利落，清秀挺拔。
陈撰，字楞山，号玉几山人，浙江宁波人，居钱塘。工草书、善写生。以墨写之，若不经意。萧疏简远，品格极高，与李鳝相伯仲。尤精画梅。闲作山水，老笔披纷，无人能及。
