本品敞口倭角四方直腹圈足，为四方倭角杯，胎质坚密，器型优雅，古拙而硬朗，线条优美自然，通体施哥釉，色泽倾黄，釉质丰腴，润泽如酥，为传世哥窑最为典型的米黄色，釉面满布开片，虽一色纯净不事雕琢，但多变的纹片相互交错，又具千形万化之感，其形其色，虽朴素而天下莫能与之争美。因其风格朴拙，意趣清疏颇受后世文人推崇，于《长物志》及《燕闲清赏笺》中皆可见奉其为文玩上品，整器古雅隽美，色古而宝光内蕴，金丝铁线各具其神，长置案头，可以养性亦可以悦心。
