此镇纸精铜为材铸造，铜质精练，规格小巧，但入手沉笃，镇压感极好。作瑞兽獬豸伏卧于地，微微侧颈，昂首平视，其独角后倚，翘鼻宽吻，双睛有神，颚下、颈部生髯，身躯稍瘦，但肌骨隆健，鳞片毕现，艺术感染力极强。
獬豸为中国古代神话传说中的神兽，类似麒麟，额生一角，能辨是非曲直，能识善恶忠奸，是“清平公正”的象征。
