品相：良好 来源：台湾藏家旧藏 在佛教经典中，大鹏金翅鸟被称为极乐净土之鸟，以其鸣声来形容诸佛菩萨之妙，最早是出现在印度史诗《罗摩衍那》中，后来成为印度教、佛教皆崇拜的重要护法神，而诵持大鹏金翅鸟的心咒则是降伏一切发邪愿的鬼魅妖魔最胜之法，还可弘法利生事业的胜利。大鹏金翅鸟又叫迦楼罗鸟，由慈悲金刚手菩萨化现，是智慧高超之忿怒本尊，是三世诸佛智慧与方便的显现。密宗中任何愤怒本尊的顶上空中皆有此大鹏金翅鸟飞翔，显宗中本师释迦牟尼佛在印度金刚座证道时，具六种庄严，其中顶饰庄严即此大鹏鸟，象征弘法利生事业的胜利。 此件石雕表现的是就是护法化相的大鹏金翅鸟，双手合十，衣袂飘飘，浮雕刻绘，栩栩如生，背面是海兽奔腾于滚滚江面之上，象征调伏，极具趣味性，是一件难得的石雕艺术珍品。
