本品唇口，短颈，折肩，肩以下渐收敛，胫部微外撇，符合梅瓶小口丰肩的基本形制，故将其归为梅瓶，而又较一般梅瓶更为小巧，引人怜爱，造型又雍容挺拔，不失端庄。全器内外满施茶叶末釉，釉质肥糯细润，釉色黄中带青，其「黄杂绿色，娇娆而不俗，艳于花，美如玉，范为瓶，最养目」，整体线条流畅，小巧别致，无需人工雕饰，自然天成，典雅隽秀的器形与润泽瑰丽的色釉完美地结合，其天然韵致使人领悟到古人非凡的审美情趣。茶叶末釉为清代官窑著名的色釉品种，在清档中被称为「厂官釉」，因色似茶叶细末般点点青绿而得名，雍正朝始烧。御窑厂专烧仅供皇室使用，多用于陈设瓷中，品级极高，本品即为佳例。参阅：《天民楼珍藏青花瓷器》，上海科学技术出版社，1996年，页234，图100
