这件小罐圆口丰肩，斜腹下收，平底，口部和底足露胎，造型丰满，端庄大气，外壁以松石绿彩装饰，以形成类似于绿松石镶嵌的装饰外观，腹部有对称的圆形开光，中部以珊瑚红彩填色，上有藏文字母，以模仿珊瑚镶嵌的视觉效果。镶嵌工艺在夏代就已经成熟，是中国内地的传统装饰技法，在蒙藏区尤为流行，珊瑚、绿松石在当地被视为极为贵重的珍宝，多镶嵌于铜、金、银等贵金属器物上，多为贵族使用，制作多极为精巧，此物制作精良，是较有地方艺术特色的珐琅彩器物。
