此式壁瓶是晚期仿乾隆朝经典的宫廷壁饰，与本品造型、纹样相近者可参见南京博物院藏粉彩描金“大吉”葫芦式壁瓶。板式葫芦造型，葫芦主体为珊瑚红轧道描金装饰，束颈作绿彩飘带形系扎，上下描金圆圈内书“大吉”二字，周围五只青花蝙蝠环绕。圈足下设连体如意式器座。做工精良，施彩华美，透出富丽堂皇之气。参阅：《宫廷珍藏：中国清代官窑瓷器》页318，南京博物院、上海文化出版社，2003年。
