Description

此器由整块碧玉雕刻而成。整体呈柱形，口底等大，口部呈长方形，四边等厚，平底。窄边分饰兽首衔环耳，兽耳上部宽平，略高于口部，兽面浮雕而成，面部狰狞，所衔之环为圆形。外壁皆高浮雕竹节纹，竹节相连，纹饰均匀，每一组竹节纹包含两段大体等长的竹节，节部突出，以阴刻双线纹表现节部纹理。两组竹节交接处地的部位对应花盆内壁的竖条形槽状阴刻纹样。底面内外壁皆光素且打磨光滑。此器简洁大气，纹样规整简约，碧色沉着如深潭之绿，雕刻精细，做工优良，简约而不粗糙，是碧玉花盆中的佳品。
