Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong gilt over blue monochrome porcelain amphora vase. The Porcelain potted in a amphora shaped vase, large, thick and tall, globular body, slighty ovoid lower body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, two archaic pattern flanked from the neck to shoulder, raised with short round foot base rim and slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in deep blue under glazed base color which contrast against the gilt overglaze. Blue stands for healing, trust and long life. Shades of green/blue are used to decorate homes for longevity and harmony, and Gold is a color of completeness, wealth, metal, God consciousness, richness and nobility. Combinations of gold and red are seen on special occasions and is a winning color combination. The main belly adorned with flowers blooms in a vase on the round medallion among Geometric pattern. The neck festooned Shou Chinese calligraphy among Geometric pattern. Banded with key fret and repeating taotie mask on the shoulder, upper mouth rim and on the foot base rim.
