竹刻注：刻款：云中人刻竹臂搁从实用器物，渐渐演变成文人案头小品，常被置于手中摩挲，日久则色沉而光滑，颇具神采。此件臂搁包浆浑厚自然，所刻老松枝干弯转遒劲；松下牵马之人紧握缰绳，尤其是画中疾步的骏马，因缰绳的牵引，马首回瞻，颈上鬃毛和马尾因疾驰的惯性呈飘扬状，动态十足。细观此器，画面层次丰富，密而不乱，运刀如笔，圆方深浅自然，生动天成。臂搁下部阴刻铭文“云中人刻竹”，刻款笔法遒劲洒脱，与臂搁上方所刻画面刀法相得益彰，表面包浆纯厚，为文人雅士案头把玩及实用的必备雅玩。
