本尊釋迦牟尼佛像面相端正，臉型圓潤，額頭較寬，下頜稍顯短圓，兩眼俯視，大耳垂肩，表情肅穆沉靜。身軀圓潤厚實，少棱角，著袒肩袈裟，袈裟採用了薩爾納特式的表現手法，衣薄貼身。左手於腹前結禪定印托缽，右手施觸地印。佛像身體挺直，肌肉勻稱協調，承襲了尼泊爾造像線條優美的特點。釋迦牟尼佛身後有環形背光，背光外層陰刻紋飾，台座為規整簡潔的長方形，上下出沿，設計簡約。本件作品以精銅鑄成，整體風格古樸典雅，特色獨具。［參閱］古天一，2018/12/8，Lot 4003， 11世紀銅阿閦佛像，H:19.5cm，成交價RMB1,092,500。
