TWO 1740 LAND PATTERN FLINTLOCK MUSKET LOCKS 18TH CENTURY in recovered state, reputedly salvaged from the remains of the house fire within Bankton House, with traces of military cyphers and insignia 20cm long approximately Note: Bankton House within the Scottish Borders was destroyed by fire 1852. It was the site of the Battle of Prestonpans 21st September 1745.
