此拍品为铜质，椭圆形，形体饱满，一如蛋形。盖身子母口扣合，下承三足。盖面随形开光雕鸳鸯花卉纹样，开光外及盒身刻缠枝花卉纹，盒内外铜锈斑驳，古色古香。匠人入刀如下笔，在此盒上勾勒出奇巧鸳鸯及花叶，此器通体鎏金，画面构图层次分明，雕刻技艺巧夺天工，相对于大多为圆形的香盒，这件作品以椭圆鹅蛋形示人，颇为少见，愈发体现出了它的珍稀性。Lot 601～Lot 626为同一藏家拍品
