此件绣品缎地上以捻金线盘绣一条巨型正龙腾空而起，龙体伸展，四爪大张，气势威武逼人。巨龙头顶华盖，下部福山寿海间云雾飘渺祥云凝聚处有一海上华屋，两只仙鹤衔筹飞来，屋内有一“贮寿瓶”，相传仙鹤衔一筹入瓶，可多活千年，后来祝寿多用“海屋添筹”为颂词。整件绣品尺幅较大，绣工精湛，龙身形态与北京故宫博物院所藏清早期的织绣龙纹无论是造型、神态有异曲同工之妙。壁挂采用多种绣法，结合巧妙，走丝若运笔，金色巨龙神形具备，磅礴气势扑面而来，由此可见，定为康熙盛世时期的巅峰之作，真乃不可多得的艺术瑰宝。
