A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE OCTAGONAL EARTHENWARE VASE, IN THE YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368) STYLE, 19TH/20TH CENTURY, the floriform cut octagonal mouth with scrollwork and repeating geometric motifs, above panels with buddhistic symbols, over a pond theme painted body with cranes and auspicious flowers, flanked by relief mythological beast masks, ending in stylized phoenix feathers, raised on a slightly flared foot, height: 16.25", diameter: 9". Condition: Some kiln frits, surface wear, minor losses, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age.
