Burberry fine writing instruments by Pentel, a extensive and rare collection of fountain pens, ballpoint pens, gel ink rollers, tri-point pens and automatics pencils, models to include: Balmoral, Sandringham, Check, Dover, Libera, Knightsbridge and Executive, all in various colourways, in a fitted leather box by Piquadro Nikolai, the lift up cover with a loop handle, opening to the famous Burberry chequered pattern interior, with ten lift out drawers, together with a leather double pen pouch, two Burberrys of London pen stands, a bookmark, two ink cartridges, various leaflets and a Dover wine coloured ball point pen, in a box with a leather double pen pouch and bookmark, 30 x 20 x 31cm This display box is one of only two commissioned by Joseph Moran. Joseph was the UK and European sales director for Pentel and took on the Burberry project range. The first box and the one offered for sale was for the personal use of Joseph. The second box was gifted to the managing director of Pentel and returned to Japan in 1993. This set contains one of every pen from the range. The box itself was handmade by the luxury Italian leather company Piquadro and is lined with the iconic Burberry print.Each of the ten pull out trays contain pens from the entire Burberry range.
