|露胎贴花是元龙泉器独特的装饰技法之一，是将素胎模印花粘于器物要装饰的部位，烧成后花纹呈现火石红色，与淡雅的青瓷相映生辉。此瓶身肩部模印开光八卦纹，肩角饰铁斑。瓶腹露胎开光八组，开光内高浮雕模印人物纹，人物造型生动，纹饰清晰，极为少见。类似的露胎模印人物八角梅瓶参见北京故宫博物院《中国文物精华大辞典·陶瓷卷》页356，图626；藏于日本（Illustrated Catalogue of Tokyo National Museum. Chinese Ceramics， vol.II， 23）；英国Montague L. Meyer收藏，1951年7月伦敦苏富比公司专场图录封面，编号33。注：盒签印“山中商会古艺术品调研社大阪站”标识。“国立历史博物馆第一展览厅 69 2212”。
