|此盒以铜为胎，形制精巧，作蒸饼式造型，盒内髹黑漆，外壁以剔红工艺装饰，两面均工，纹饰相类，从子母口方可分出器与盖。正中雕一朵硕大的牡丹花卉纹，牡丹花怒放，花瓣铺展翻卷，花蕊粗大浓密，周围叶片相互压叠，朵花反侧相映，极尽繁华之姿，花瓣叶脉均以阴线刻绘，细节之处可见精工。整器堆漆厚重，漆色红润，漆质坚实，加之金属为胎，手头破实，雕工婉转有力，构图繁而不乱，方寸之间将牡丹花雍容富贵之姿展露无遗。|旧配供盒。
