题识：《独睡小记》先父收藏各式家具小样不乏百余件，但种种原因，余留无几。幸而温德源师傅保存一二，才以重见。此种塌北京匠师通称罗汉床，只容一人，故又称"独睡"。三面独板围子，起罗锅枨式轮廓，床盘素面朝天。束腰彭牙，壸门起阳线。三弯腿，足端雕内卷云纹。淳厚耐看。畅安 王世襄 |说明：大凡王世襄先生玩过的东西，都留下了文字记载和他研究的心得。经他把这些东西加以描述和总结，这些东西马上升格，一变而成为了文化。
