A Korean gilt-bronze standing figure of Buddha. Cast in the front with drapery falling from the chest to ankles in u-shaped folds, the right hand raised in abhaya mudra and the left hand lowered in varada mudra. Unified Silla Dynasty, 8th-9th century. More recent gilt wood base and mandorla. H. 13 cm.
