直口，长颈，球形腹，圈足。外壁均施红釉，釉质肥厚，呈浓重饱满的朱红色， 艳而不俗，端庄大方。本品器形周正，造型稳重，胎质洁白坚致，釉面莹润，釉 色匀壹，做工壹丝不苟，釉色沈静雅穆，无言中有大美，十分难得。天球瓶以其 形体似球体而得名，此种器形始见于明代永乐、宣德时期，流行于清代雍正、乾 隆两朝，属典型陈设用瓷。 大清道光年制（款） 来源：英国私人藏家收藏 参阅： 《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系-颜色釉》，上海科学技术出版社、商务印书馆（香 港）有限公司，1999年，页29，图26。
